Is there a shuttle to go around Bel Ombre Territory ?

There is a free shuttle all day which is accessible at the reception of all onsite outlets.

What are the dining facilities available for Heritage Resorts guests?

Heritage Resorts offers a range of 12 restaurants and 8 bars, all of them located at Bel Ombre Territory. Depending on your meal plan, you can have access to all the restaurants with or without extra costs. Bookings are strongly recommended and can be done only upon your arrival at the resort.

What are the treatments available at the Seven Colours Spa?

With access to two spa villages, one of 3000m2 at Heritage Awali and one of 2000m2 at Heritage Le Telfair offering different types of treatments: massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, wellness walks, yoga, pilates. reiki, tai chi, QI Qong and wellness breaks with international teachers.

What are the facilities provided for children?

Whether your children are toddlers or teenagers, we provide baby, kids and teens clubs to suit all ages. The Baby Timomo club from 0 to 3 years old, the Timomo & Friends kids’ club for 3 to 11 years old and the Cool Teens programme for youngsters from 12 to 17 years old.

Is there an extra charge for enjoying water activities?

The Cabana nautical centre offers numerous water activities, some of them are free of charge and others are at extra charge.

Can you organise transfers from the airport to the hotel?

The hotel can arrange your transfer from airport to the hotel and vice versa at extra cost.

We provide beach towels to our guests.

Is there a free shuttle from/to the airport?

Airport transfers can be organised upon request and at extra cost.

Do you provide free Wi-Fi access?

The Wi-Fi access is free of charge and available in rooms and public areas.

Do you help with foreign currency exchange?

We do provide the service of foreign exchange into in Mur only.

We accept solely CHF, Euro, GBP, Zar, USD & AUD.

What time is check-in/check-out?

Check-in time is 2pm and check-out time is noon.

Do you apply additional charges for early check-in or late check-out?

Early check-in and late check-out are charged at 50% of daily room rate.

What is your cancellation policy?

• Free cancellation for booking cancelled 7 days prior to Arrival.
• No-show will be charged 100% of total booking.

Which document should I give at check-in?

You can show either an accommodation voucher if you have booked your stay through a Tour Operator or your confirmation number if you have done it through any Online Travel Agency or direct bookings. Passport or identity card is necessary.

What are the methods of payment accepted?

Cash and credit cards are accepted: Visa, Amex, MasterCard & Diners Club International.

Is it necessary to bring an electric socket adapter?

All rooms are equipped with British Standard sockets (240 volts) and one French standard socket.

Is room service available?

A 24-hour room service is available (at extra cost).

Do you provide bathroom amenities?

We offer free bathroom amenities. 

Do you provide hair dryer, bathrobe and slippers?

We do provide a hairdryer, shaver socket, dressing, bathrobes and slippers in room.

Is there a TV in room?

Guests can enjoy a wide variety of local and international channels. We also have video on demand which is free of charge.

What are the dining facilities available to guests?

Annabella’s Restaurant

Our main restaurant offers masterly refined regional and international specialities and is open daily for breakfast from 06h30 to 10h30 and for dinner from 19h00 to 22h30

 

Le Palmier Restaurant

Overlooking the pool and the ocean, Le Palmier restaurant is the ideal place for those who want an interrupted enjoyment of the sea while enjoying a light meal. Lunch is served from noon to 15h00 and dinner from 19h00 to 22h30.

 

Gin’Ja Restaurant & Bar

Set on a stretch of white sand and overlooking the lagoon, our Pan-Asian Fusion restaurant is open for lunch daily from noon to 15h00 and dinner from 19h00 to 22h30

Our Speciality Chef will be delighted to welcome you to experience the Teppanyaki table every evening upon reservation only. Kindly contact your villa Host who will gladly assist with your booking.

 

C Beach Club 

The tropical and contemporary design of this trendy beach club complements perfectly the delicious Mediterranean cuisine. The restaurant is open for lunch from noon to 15h00 and dinner from 19h00 to 22h30 while the bar is welcomes you from  10h00 to 23h30.

 

Le Château de Bel Ombre

Discover exquisite Gourmet Mauritian cuisine and Domaine de Bel Ombre sourced products in the enchanting setting of this 19th century property filled with history and culture.

Le Château de Bel Ombre is open for dinner only as from 19h00 to 22h30.

What are the different meal plans offered?

Guests staying at Heritage Le Telfair can choose between 3 meal plans: Bed & Breakfast; Half Board (breakfast & dinner excluding beverages); Gourmet Bliss.

Can I dine in all the 12 restaurants at Bel Ombre Territory ?

Guests staying at Heritage Le Telfair have access to all the restaurants located at Bel Ombre Territory.

The following restaurants are included in the halfboard package:

• Annabella’s

• Le Palmier

• C Beach Club

• O’Grill at Le Château Golf Course.

All the restaurants of Bel Ombre Territory are included in the Gourmet Bliss package except Boma located at Heritage Awali.

All the dishes on the menus are available to the Gourmet Bliss clients, except a few highlighted items such as Lobster and Foie gras.

What is the dress code for restaurants in the evening?

For the comfort of our guests, a dress code applies in all bars and restaurants as from 7pm.

Smart attire at Le Château de Bel Ombre, Annabella’s, La Réserve Golf Links & O’Grill (trousers, elegant shirts and closed shoes for men)

Elegant resort wear at all other restaurants & bars at Heritage Resorts & Golf (trousers or tailored bermudas, elegant shirts and closed shoes for men; sandals are not permitted)

Can we enjoy water sports for free?

What are the facilities available at the spa?

The Seven Colours Millesime Spa offers 6 treatment rooms, 2 outdoor suites, 1 honeymoon suite & a wellness sanctuary. Guests will also enjoy a vitality pool, 2 hammams, 2 saunas, a relaxation zone, a beauty parlour with hair dressing facilities.

How much are the green fees at the golf courses?

Green fees are as follows (valid until 31 January 2028):

Le Château Golf Course: EUR 50 per person per round, including buggy (EUR 50 per person per round)

La Réserve Golf Links: EUR 210 per person per round, including buggy and one pyramid of range balls

Gourmet Bliss & Premium All-Inclusive:

One round of golf per golfer per stay at Heritage Golf Club – Le Château Golf Course, including shared buggy with GPS and one pyramid of range balls

One round of golf per golfer per stay at La Réserve Golf Links, including shared buggy with GPS and one pyramid of range balls

Applicable for stays of 7 nights or more. Rounds are cumulative; any unused rounds are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Our fully equipped fitness centre and entertainment team offer numerous land-based activities, some of them are free of charge and others are at an extra cost.

What are the available facilities offered for families travelling with babies from 0 to 3?

For the comfort of parents, our Timomo baby club is open seven days a week from 08h30 to 16h00 and welcomes infants and toddlers from 0 to 3 years old. This is a free service. Our baby nurses are fully trained in first aid and child care. Each baby nurse will be responsible of a maximum of 2 babies and we can accommodate up to 5 babies.

The baby corner is furnished with a changing table, sink and baby tub, Baby cot/Crib, secured play area with toys and play mats, fridge, bottle warmer, bottle sterilizer, high chairs and push chairs.

Please note that nappies, formula milk and baby food are not provided, however they are on sale in our Blue Earth shops.

The resort also provides the following items in room upon request: Baby monitors, bottle warmers, bottle sterilizer, push chairs, baby bath tub, high chairs, nappy bins, etc…

Is there a babysitting service?

You can book a babysitter via the hotel in advance and at extra cost. Note that a baby sitter can only look after a maximum of 2 kids at a time.

Are there baby amenities?

A baby hamper containing a nappy cream, moisturising cream, baby shampoo and an alcohol free baby cologne is placed in all suites accommodating babies from 0 to 3 yrs old.

Can formula milk, nappies and baby food be purchased?

Available at the Blue Earth shop.

Are there single/double pushchairs?

Single prams are available on request Timomo Kids Club

Can baby food be prepared?

Yes, the chef will be delighted to prepare the purée of your choice and this is free of charge.

Are there baby beds, cribs or foldable beds?

Is there a kids Club?

Yes our Timomo kids Club is open 7/7 from 08h30 to 23h00 and we accommodate kids from 36 months as long as they are potty trained.

Our teens club is open 7/7 from 08h30 to 23h00 daily and a fun program with plenty of activities is available to keep them entertained.

Heritage Awali offers a range of dining experiences:Savana, the main restaurant, serves international cuisine in buffet and à la carte formats.Boma, an open-air restaurant, features traditional African dishes.Zafarani offers Indian cuisine in an adults-only setting.Amafrooty serves sandwiches, salads and lunch buffets.Infinity Blue, located by the pool and beach, offers international cuisine.

Guests can choose between two meal plans: All Inclusive and All Inclusive Premium.

Can I dine in all restaurants within Bel Ombre Territory?

Guests have access to all restaurants across Bel Ombre Territory. Some restaurants may incur additional charges, with à la carte menus available at preferential rates.

What is the evening dress code?

A smart casual dress code applies from 6:30 pm in all bars and restaurants. For men, this includes trousers or tailored shorts, closed shoes and collared shirts.

Are water sports included?

The Cabana nautical centre offers a selection of complimentary activities such as windsurfing, kayaking, snorkelling and glass-bottom boat trips.Additional activities, including kitesurfing, catamaran cruises and stand-up paddle, are available at an extra cost.

What facilities are available at the spa?

The Seven Colours Spa features 20 treatment rooms, including indoor and outdoor spaces. Facilities include a vitality pool, chilled pool, hammams, sauna, relaxation areas, hair salon, bridal room and a dedicated treatment room for children. Wellness walks in the Frédérica Nature Reserve are also available at an additional cost.

What are the golf fees?

The Heritage Golf Club offers equipment rental, lessons with a PGA professional, night golf sessions and SNAG (at extra cost).Green fees and buggy rental are payable directly at the hotel or villas. Rates may vary depending on the period and package booked.Guests on Gourmet Bliss and Premium All Inclusive plans benefit from included privileges.

Are land sports included?

A variety of land-based activities are available. Complimentary options include beach volleyball, cycling, table tennis and tennis.Activities such as Segway tours, personal coaching, quad biking and golf lessons are available at an additional cost.

Is there evening entertainment?

Evening entertainment includes live music, jazz evenings, Sega shows, African-themed nights and beach cinema sessions (some at extra cost).

What facilities are available for babies (0–3 years)?

A complimentary baby club is available for children aged 0 to 3, open daily from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. The service is supervised by trained baby nurses. Advance booking (12 hours prior) is required.

Is babysitting available?

Babysitting services can be arranged in advance at an additional cost.

Do you provide baby equipment and food?

A range of baby equipment is available, including baby cots, strollers (on request), welcome baby amenities, and a dedicated baby menu.

What facilities are available for children (3–11 years)?

The Timomo & Friends Kids Club welcomes children from 3 to 11 years old daily from 8:30 am to 11:00 pm, with a full programme of activities.

What about teenagers (12–17 years)?

Teenagers can enjoy a supervised programme designed specifically for their age group.

Do you offer wedding packages?

Two wedding packages are available: Classic (complimentary) and Premium Luxury (at an additional cost).

What wedding venues are available?

A variety of venues can be arranged, including the beach, wedding kiosk, gardens of Le Château de Bel Ombre, a boat setting, the Frédérica Nature Reserve or C Beach Club (subject to availability and additional charges).

Do you provide a wedding coordinator?

A dedicated wedding coordinator is available to assist with planning and organisation.

What additional wedding services do you offer?

Services include floral arrangements, photography, music, spa treatments, as well as special experiences such as fireworks and horse-drawn carriage.

Are legal procedures compulsory?

The civil wedding package is mandatory for all direct bookings with Heritage Awali.

Heritage The Villas

Where are the villas situated?

The villas are on the Bel Ombre Territory which comprises two 5-star hotels, a Beach Club, an 18-hole golf course, 45 villas to rent and a nature reserve. The villas are not on the beach but a dedicated beach club a few minutes away is offered to villa guests

How many bedrooms do the villas have?

2-bedroom villas (200 m2) for 4 people maximum

3-bedroom villas (180 - 220 m2) for 6 people maximum

4-bedroom villas (250 - 350 m2) for 8 people maximum

What is included in my villa?

A spacious terrace with a seating area, dining table, sun loungers, infinity pool, gazebo and barbecue.

An open-air tropical garden offering a stunning view over the golf course and the ocean.

Lots of interior space with a living room, dining room, kitchen and utility room (with an oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer…).

Heritage The Villas are designed for “à la carte” holidays:

As a resident of Heritage The Villas, you will benefit from a 20% discount on meals excluding drinks in our restaurants and bars at Bel Ombre Territory, except at Le Château de Bel Ombre, Boma and special evening menus.

Option to have a chef in your villa.

Selection of food products and drink cartons to stock up your fridge.

Order meals and set menus to be delivered to your villa.

Half board for €45 per adult and €22,50 for children under 12.

You can do your shopping and cook your meals yourself.

What is there for my children?

It takes approximately 50 minutes (40 km).

How to travel around Mauritius?

The hotel provides a car rental service as well as a taxi service.

Is the water safe to drink?

Tap water is considered safe but we would advise to drink bottled water.

Should I bring a mosquito repellent?

Yes, it is advised to use a range of reliable repellents.

Do I need to get specific vaccinations before going to Mauritius?

A trip to Mauritius does not require any particular vaccinations.
